Director

Jiří Louda has been cooperating with IEEP since 2006. He is a researcher and project manager of national and international scientific as well as application projects which are focused mainly on the blue and green infrastructure and the concept of ecosystem services and its use for climate adaptation of settlements and (urban) landscapes. He also deals with issues of energy. More

 

Dr. Hana Brůhová Foltýnová  (Hana.Bruhova-Foltynova(at)ujep(dot)cz)

Deputy director

Hana Brůhová Foltýnová works as a senior researcher at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem. She is concerned in sustainable urban mobility, above all in economic and environmental impacts of transport regulation, sustainable transport policies and measures and their monitoring and evaluation, and active transport support. More

 

Assoc. Prof. Jan Slavík  (Jan.Slavik(at)ujep(dot)cz)

Jan Slavik is the research project coordinator and the university teacher at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of the Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem. His long term interest is in environmental policy instruments and their application within the area of waste management. He also deal with the public service provision effectiveness and the inter-municipal cooperation. He has been cooperating with IEEP since 2001. Since 2023 he has been Vice-Rector for Science and Research at the university. More

 

Assoc. Prof. Lenka Slavíková   (Slavikova(at)ieep(dot)cz)

Lenka Slavikova is the institutional economist, project coordinator and the university teacher at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of the Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem. Her long-term interest is in water and biodiversity governance with the focus on Central and Eastern European Countries. She has been cooperating with IEEP since 2001. More

Jan Brabec applies economic tools to environmental problems when solving scientific projects. He focuses on quantitative research in the field of economic evaluation of green and blue infrastructure, energy, air pollution and water management. More

 

Dr. Jan Macháč   (Machac(at)ieep(dot)cz)

Jan Macháč is the environmental economist, project coordinator and the university teacher at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of the Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem. He has a long-standing interest in the economic issues of blue-green infrastructure, climate change adaptation and water management and in the concept of ecosystem services and regulatory impact assessment. He uses and develops a wide range of economic methods and tools applied in the field environment. More

Kristyna Rybova is the project manager specialized in cross-border cooperation projects. She focuses on demographic changes impacts on regional development and public service provision. More

 

Dr. Martin Špaček   (Spacek(at)ieep(dot)cz)

I have been extensively involved in regional development with a focus on social innovation, cross-sectoral collaboration at the local level with implications for the environmental domain (ecosystem services, climate change adaptation), and evaluations of public expenditure programs. I have contributed to several international research projects in these areas. More

 

Lenka Dubová   (Dubova(at)ieep(dot)cz)

Lenka Dubová works as a researcher and university lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies at the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. She is currently finishing her doctoral studies on the topic of improving the quality of life of urban inhabitants through green and blue infrastructure elements. She is focused on the economic and social aspects of community gardens and the valuation of ecosystem services not only in urban areas. More

Marek Hekrle is a researcher involved in scientific research projects in the field of environmental economics. He is currently a doctoral student at the Faculty of Socio-Economics at the University of J. E. Purkyně in Usti nad Labem. His research primarily focuses on topics related to the valuation of benefits and costs associated with the implementation of nature-based measures in both urban and rural environments. More

Lenka Zaňková works as a researcher of scientific projects. She focuses on landscape sustainability, specifically on impact assessment of climate change adaptation and mitigation. More

 

Blanka Bannertová   (Bannertova(at)ieep(dot)cz)

Secretary

Blanka Bannertová holds the position of a secretary at IEEP. Simultaneously, she actively participates in international and national scientific and applied projects, fulfilling the role of a research assistant. Her expertise is primarily focused on the issues of waste management and environmental sustainability.
